Photo Enhance Tool

It can be as easy a 1 click to enhance the colour balance of a poorly exposed photo.

The Photo enhance tool is accessible from the photo tool fly out menu. The tool can automatically raise the colour balance of a poorly exposed image and allow customised settings for the colour balance to be applied. All the the changes applied by the Photo enhance tool are non-destructive, meaning that all edits can be removed to show the original image.

First, select the Photo enhance tool. Along the infobar at the top you can customise the individual components manually to enhance your image by changing the values for Brightness, Contrast, Colour Saturation, Colour Temperature and Blue/Sharpen.

On the left of these is the Enhance button, by clicking on this the program will automatically enhance the image that is selected.

On the right of these is the Compare button which allows the user to easily toogle the changes to see a before and after of the image once Enhance has been applied.

The slideshow below shows a quick example of how easy this can be achieved.

You can also manually enhance your photo by altering the Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Temperature and the Blur or Sharpness of the photo. Designer Pro X/PGD MX & P&LD also allow you to alter the Photo Hue. Please see the Photo Hue section for additional information.
