Printing GIF/JPEG/PNG files created by Xara3D results in poor quality results

Xara3D is primarily intended to create images for use on webpages or other on-screen presentations and so the output resolution of GIF and JPEG images is set to the screen resolution of 96dpi, a little too low for satisfactory print output (an easy way to print the results, is to open the exported GIF or JPEG file in a web-browser and print using the web-browsers print option.)

However, you can effectively increase the output resolution of Xara3D images by exporting them at a size larger than required and then scaling them down. Import the file into a word processor/DTP/graphics package with the size set to double the required final size, and then scale the image to 50% full size. This will effectively double the resolution to 192dpi.
