Why does my audio / video media not Autoplay within my website after publishing?

Recent policy changes to both Firefox and Chrome mean media that you have imported and set to Autoplay won't do so anymore. This is due to a number of reasons - from preventing unsolicited media playing whilst browsing your website to saving bandwidth where this is limited in some areas, and on some devices. It is likely that Microsoft Edge will follow suit in the near future. This is set at a browser level and not something we can override. 

The Autoplay option when importing media is likely to be deprecated in the future because of these changes, so we suggest that you avoid enabling the feature, as for some browsers this will appear as an error in the console as the media is blocked from playing. 

Even if this feature is dropped, you will still be able to import media as normal.
