Photo & Graphic Designer 12.3 update

We’ve released a free update to Photo & Graphic Designer, bringing it up to version 12.3.0 under our Update Service.

Summary of improvements

Photo Features
•    50 new photo filter pre-sets
•    Option to toggle Magnetic Lasso auto-trace on and off while drawing an outline
•    Photo Effect Painter improvements:
     •    Improved naming of regions inside Photo Groups
     •    Feathering settings preserved

Content Catalog
•    Royalty-free stock illustrations added to Online Content Catalog
•    Download of stock photos with full resolution (no longer limited to HD – print documents only)
•    Option to keep Content Catalog open after selecting an item
•    New options to insert from the theme folder corresponding to the current document (new documents only)

New Smartshape
•    New chevron SmartShape

List Editing improvements
•    You can now select just the bullets/numbers in bulleted/numbered lists, so you can then adjust the color, size or font independently of the list text
•    Linking of separate numbered lists.  You can link a numbered list to carry on numbering from a previous list
•    Allow Delete back to support blocks of text in a list without having to use Shift+Return.

Import/Export
•    SVG import improvements
•    More improvements to PDF and Word document import

Bonus Software
•    Photo & Graphic Designer now includes a free copy of MAGIX Photo Manager 16, a useful utility for sorting, searching and creating back-ups of your photos (existing owners of the 365 version click Help > Update for the download link)

Other improvements
•    Improved import of web buttons into print docs (no longer creates unnecessary layers)
•    Delete style operation added

Updating To update your installation

Simply start the program and it will automatically find any available update. Alternatively use the "Update program" facility in the program Help menu. Note you need to have unlocked AND registered your program to receive updates.
